The word “corporate” comes from the Latin “Corpus”, meaning “body”. This leads to the idea that a corporation is something close to a group of people meant to act as one through their decisions. The main goal of corporate entertainment is to provide a sort of bondage between colleagues, or team members, even between the lower-ranking employees and their superiors, thus making the “organism” of the company work better.
